Salone del Mobile 2017
At the Salone del Mobile 2017, Verzelloni suggests a warm, elegant, and emotional vision in living.
The exhibition living is open and welcoming and reveals in detail a search for contemporary elegance.
It is ideally divided into four spaces and highlights new products, between innovation and creative freedom.
The long standing collaboration is confirmed with Studio Lievore Altherr, which this year signs the new Nilson seat system characterized by a harmonious shape that resembles the wings of a butterfly. The softness of its profile is assured by the large seat cushions made of non-deformable polyurethane foam, soft backs and wide armrests padded with channeled down. The lightness is provided by a linear structure that separates the seat cushions from the aluminum die cast feet, which seem to get it to float suspended in the air.
Nilson is available in a high back or low back version. In the high version, the backrest/headrest with an “intuitive” design can be adjusted in different positions, offering an unsurpassed comfort. Nilson Low is dedicated to those who prefer an informal and contemporary seat. Both versions are available in three different sizes of sofas. The collection also includes day beds and poufs.
An invitation to comfort is also given by the armchair Divanitas High, which completes Divanitas new edition. It was designed by Studio Lievore Altherr Molina in 1996 and is characterized not only by its curved lines, but also its high back, which enhances its comfort. At first glance, it seems to have a classical shape, almost a seat for reading and conversation, but the slight derogation in proportional relationships between the parties turns it into a contemporary object in its own right.
Created to decorate domestic or contract interior, Divanitas Alta is the perfect fusion between contemporary and classic to give rise to a timeless object. Dark brown leather fibers with exposed stitches are the new proposal for the top of Club series tables. The color of the top creates continuity with the bronze-painted cast aluminum base, creating
a refined continuity. The set consists of three tops of different sizes which differ both in height and in diameter, to
combine and partly overlap them.
Following the design, in addition to comfortable mood, the study of color and combinations of fabric upholstery, from bi-colored yarns to velvets and leathers through an exhibition leading away from usual, revealing the culture of elegance in the Verzelloni style.
